We are looking for a reliable and hardworking afternoon Caretaker to join our team. The role involves supporting the smooth running of the school by carrying out general caretaking duties, ensuring the site is clean, safe, and secure.

This is a flexible afternoon role — typical shifts could be 3pm–6pm, 4pm–7pm, or 5pm–8pm depending on your availability and the school’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general caretaking duties, including basic maintenance and repairs.

  • Ensure the school premises are kept clean, tidy, and safe.

  • Open and secure the building as required.

  • Assist with moving furniture or setting up rooms for school events if needed.

  • Report any site issues or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements:

  • Previous caretaking or maintenance experience preferred but not essential.

  • Good practical skills for minor repairs.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

  • A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a school community.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to undergo one).
